That is cruel. If you’ve not already done so, please submit a ticket, including your in-game support key (shows up on your loading screen) to support+forums@ludia.com. It’ll probably take a few days to get a response. I’ve had good luck with them, though my experience is by no means universal. Good luck.
On another note, it’s posts like this that, yet again, remind me of why I have no interest in paying money o become a VIP.
A lot of us were affected by this bug. It’s happened before with other tournaments and they have always to my recollection followed through.
Check your in game mail, should have the LP in there if you are a VIP player.
At least at this specific issue you underestimated Ludia . That was a quick response to the bug .
