so, I’m on Android and have a slight beef with the way ads are shown, or rather the fact that the play store is opened after the video. It uses up resources, and after watching 2-3, the game becomes sluggish, requiring a restart, and sometimes causes repeated disconnect from the profile, again requiring a reset.
I get that there’s a higher chance of users installing whatever they watched the ad for, but I don’t think it requires actually opening it. Many games will show the video as a layer, and just leave it to the user to click to close, or open play store if you click the ad. That would save a lot of time and annoyance, and shouldn’t in any way change the ad’s impact.
