Anybody else rename dinos for fun because of hard to pronounce or goofy names ?
Rajestega = Rastafari
Smilodon = Smiley
Bananogmius = Mr. Bojangles
Eolambia = yibambe (black panther)
Dimorphodon = Morphed

I doubt that happens because with the nicknames you could get confused! However I would call Pelecanimimus = Pelican because I hadn’t learned to write it!

Personally, I enjoy learning the names of dinos, no matter how hard they might be to pronounce.
