Broken moves(no not the OP kinds)

What if we had moves that did a total amount of damage between 2 different attacks. Examples would be things such as
Broken rampage: Cooldown 2, attack 1x twice
Broken shield: Delay 1 cooldown 4, attack .5x twice shield for 4 turns
That way people can get through moves like shield, dodge and distraction quicker.

So like one of the hits could land a crit and the other could just be normal? I like it.

I like this idea. stuff like this can not only be added to new creatures and hybrids, but existing creatures to break up the monotony of move types with in the class.
