Can’t get to existing account

So this evening I relaunched my game after it had been idle for about a half hour and rather than a Game Center auto-log the game required I connect to an Apple account, then wouldn’t accept fingerprint authorization. I couldn’t resolve the problem with the support articles, hit contact us, and waited and waited. I finally gave up, since Ludia doesn’t have support hours listed anywhere. I really don’t understand what happened but I really need to get back into my account. Anyone else had this problem and know how to fix it?
