Could this be an exploit with the new championship system?

I was just thinking about this, and was wondering if anyone could confirm it.

You only receive extra points for adding on to your tournament high score.
What if someone purposefully dropped down to Badlands? Since they’ll start with a much lower trophy count, doesn’t that mean they can ultimately gain more points that way?

And if it locks you in the highest arena, doesn’t that mean multi-accounters win? They can just start new games, keep to Badlands and continue leveling their dinos up to win at these championships.

I thought about this but no. It is total trophies not trophies gained. Finishing on 1500 whether you started from 100 or 800 trophies still equals 1500 trophies contributed to the alliance score
