Critical damage in strike tower doesn't work properly - on purpose?

I am pretty sure Ludia increases the critical hit chance for Strike Towers. It is not very likely to happen that a dino with a 5% chance hits crit twice and then another one does the same. I still managed to win the tower, but it was quite difficult, givent that the dinos already have a quite high level. Of course, I can’t prove my assumption (how should I?), but since they have already made the strikes more difficult in order the get more retries, it would just make perfectly sense.

Anyone else noticed this?

I noticed this. Every other hit on my dinos was a crit. Or a nullify strike. So much for the Metahub 1-step process for beating it.
