Dinosaur 101: Daphoenus, Minmi, and Torvosaurus

size: Around the size of a coyote
diet: Carnivorous.
:bear: :dog: Daphoneus was an amphicyonid, like Amphicyon. These animals were called “bear-dogs” because they had characteristics of both bears and dogs.

Minmi
Time: 133 - 120 mya
Place: Australia
Size: 3 metres (9.8 ft)
Diet: Herbivorous
@Minmi! Look who’s here! Minmi was an ankylosaurian dinosaur, and paleontologists dont have much fossils of Minmi. The most complete fossil of Minmi was actually proven to be another species, Kunbarrasaurus.

Torvosaurus`
Diet: Carnivorous
Name meaning: Savage lizard
time: 165 to 148 mya
Place: Colorado, Portugal, Germany
size: 10 meters
DIet: Carnivorous

@CADEN_EPIC I wasn’t lying when I said that. Torvosaurus was a megalosaurid theropod . It was one of the LARGEST theropods! In fact, the synonymous Edmarka rex was named because it was assumed to rival Tyrannosaurus rex in length!
