Description:An InGen genetically modified hybrid. The Monolometrodon is fused with the synapsid Dimetrodon and the theropod Monolophosaurus. While it may look like a huge horn similar to a rhinoceros, it is actually the crest inherited from the Monolophosaurus similar to it’s other hybrids(Monomimus, Tapejalosaurus). It’s sail is half the height of it’s synapsid ancestor’s and the striking colours and appearance of it’s body help intimidate and confuse both it’s prey and predators. Unlike both of it’s parents, the Monolometrodon thrived in groups and display more rituals than the Dimetrodon, fighting for dominance and leadership. This may be due to the Monolophosaurus DNA since it evolve later than the Dimetrodon and could have developed more nuanced social instincts.
