One of the first hybrids you could create when the game launched. I don’t know if that is still the case though.
Handy to start with but frankly with such low damage and speed, is it worth it anymore? Even after having an update in abilities Majundasuchus feels really underwhelming.
I always did like it, and it’s definitely usable at lower arenas. The problem is it’s attack is so low, which I know @Tarbosaurus gets angry about Overall though I’d say it’s not garbage but nothing special. I’d run it early game but not overlevel it compared to other rare hybrids like Suchotator and Einiasuchus.
For what it represents, I am surprised that it has such low damage. There are plenty of Rare dinosaurs that have better so this poor hybrid gets left behind fairly quickly.
It’s because his base stats are balanced around both swap in ferocity and ferocious strike. He can double his attack for a turn, so they can’t let it be TOO high, as it would be overbearing against other common/rare dinos. He needs to lose ferocious strike so they can pump his stats up.
I have him I use him. I really like to play him right after I’ve set up the opponent for it.
He come in handy after a bleed has been applied. Or weakening strike. Or the opponent is stoned etc. His best attribute is his extra damage counter. I use him in the marshes from time to time.
I think it should be renamed DinoCorn, And yeah, it needs help. One of the first dino I fused, but it is too low in stats for me to have on a team. He is slow, with no defense, not the best health, low crit chance and really low damage (thought Ferocity helps),

It has been nearly a year since the Dinosaur of the Day discussions started and I thought it might be nice to slowly revisit them and see how things have changed.
Pinning Strike.
Short Defence.
Ferocious Strike.
Cleansing Impact.
swap in Ferocity.
Armour Piercing Counter.
Majundasuchus has seen a slight boost in damage since launch and that is it. Unfortunately I still think that being a starter hybrid and her having such low damage, that Majundasuchus isn’t worth bothering with. You create it to learn how to combine DNA and then she’s left on the bench. It’s a shame as I don’t think any creature in the game should be forgettable like this.
Anyone have any thoughts on this entry level hybrid?
It was my first hybrid. Only used it a week before i put her permantly on the bench. After all the time i played jwa, i still love the design. I maxed her out simply because of the endless wave of majungasaurus in zone 1. Her stats maybe bad but i can 't wait till she gets her own hybrid.
Majundasuchus now has better health and damage than previously. While not amazing this is what she should have started out with. As for her abilities, she is no longer a pinner but a resilient creature which arguably makes her better, otherwise she remains the same. The increase in damage up to 1000 suddenly makes her playable as an early hybrid for newer players. With a hybrid now, she will probably remain benched and used as a DNA farm.
Majundasuchus might be playable now for lower level Raids but I would imagine she would not be picked when there are much better options.
What are your thoughts on Majundasuchus after 2.0 and how would you use her now?
