Just started playing the game, but it looks look most alliances dont use a chat outside the game…is that right…or am I just missing them?
Most use discord and some Facebook chat.

Same as Scube, we also use Discord but a big portion of the alliance has not signed up yet.
I use discord and do not accept any new alliance members unless they join my discord server.
With sanctuaries being in the game, the random join requests will really ruin your system you have in place without good communication.

We use Discord as well, 30 members have joined so far (family members don’t have to). I will require new members to join - it’s just so much better than the in game chat.
