The Theropod Update
Update 2.12 brings new Theropod Dinosaurs into Jurassic World Alive, as well as new hybrids and a new campaign-unlockable apex!

NEW TOURNAMENT RULES

New rules and formats have been introduced to tournaments!

Many players have been asking for a change to tournaments, so the team introduced some new formats to spice up the weekends.

CLASS RULES: Some tournaments will now require players to only use creatures of one or more specific classes!
ABILITY RULES: Some tournaments will now require players to use creatures that don’t have specific ability types! Example: No swap-in abilities.
VERSION RULES: Some tournaments will now require players to use creatures that came out during, before, after, or in between updates of Jurassic World Alive! Example: Only creatures from versions 2.0 to 2.6.

These rules can make any combination with each other and with the rarity and hybrid rules! Expect a lot of new tournaments!

NEW ABILITIES

A total of 5 new abilities will be making their way into Jurassic World Alive!

Deliberate Immobilize
Target fastest: 100% chance to stun, lasting 1 turn. Swap prevent, lasting 2 turns.
Cooldown: 2.

Cleansing Shattering Impact
Self: Cleanse.
Target lowest HP: remove taunt and shield, bypass armor. Attack 1.5x.
Cooldown: 2.

Cleansing Shattering Rampage
Self: Cleanse.
Target highest HP: remove taunt and shield, bypass armor. Attack 2x.
Delay: 1. Cooldown: 2.

Obstruct and Distract
Target escapee: swap prevent, lasting 2 turns. Reduce damage 50% for 4 attacks, lasting 2 turns.

Decimate
Target highest HP: remove shield, bypass armor. Attack 3x. DoT 0.1x target’s max HP, lasting 2 turns. Vulnerable for 2 attacks, lasting 1 turn.
Delay: 2. Cooldown: 4.

NEW RAID BOSSES

Update 2.12 brings 7 new raid bosses, and reintroduces 4 old raids!

The versatile Yutyrannus will be a rare raid boss for Friday,
The fierce Carcharodontosaurus will be a rare raid boss for Sunday.
The powerful Alberdontosaurus will be an epic raid boss for Saturday
The fearless Giganocephalus will be a legendary raid boss for Sunday
The counter-attacking Segnocanthosaurus will be a legendary raid boss for Saturday
The resilient Alankyloceratops will be a unique raid boss for Friday
The deadly Megistalloraptor will be a unique raid boss for Saturday.

The Woolly Mammoth raid will return as an epic raid boss for Sunday.
The Pyrritator raid will return as a legendary raid boss for Friday.
The Sinoceratops raid will return as an epic raid boss for Friday.
The Grypolyth raid will return as a unique raid boss for Sunday.

NEW ACHIEVEMENTS

Ultimate Predator: Unlock Diablatrager.
David vs Goliath: Defeat a Diablatrager with a common creature.

CAMPAIGN-UNLOCKABLE APEX

The new Diablatrager will be unlockable through a once-weekly campaign battle. This is only available to people who have completed the entire campaign. Only the most powerful and skilled players get to control the goliath!

In the campaign battle, the player will face against a level 30 Diablatrager with 10 boosts in each stat. Once the battle has been won, the player will be rewarded with 15 diablratrager DNA. The weekly timer resets on Mondays at 8:00 AM CST. This means you can complete it on Monday at 7:00 AM, and do it again at 9:00 AM. However, after the 2nd win, you would have to wait until the next Monday at 8:00 AM. The battle can only be attempted 5 times per week, but you can use HC to get more. Once you win, you won’t be able to attempt it until the weekly reset.

ABILITY UPDATES

Nullifying Impact, Nullifying Rampage, Revenge Nullifying Rampage: Cooldown reduced to 1.
Group Decelerating Strike: Cooldown reduced to 0.
Taunting Rampage: Delay reduced to 0.
Cautious Cunning Rampage: Renamed to Instant Cunning Rampage.
Lethal Rampage and Run: Renamed to Lethal Shattering Rampage and Run.
Piercing Revenge: Renamed to Revenge Rending Lockdown.
Pesky Alert: Renamed to Alert On-escape Cloak.
Delayed Revenge Distracting Rampage: Renamed to Revenge Distracting Rampage.
Collision: Renamed to On-escape Critical Strike.

CREATURE UPDATES

Stygidaryx: Health increased to 4350. Attack increased to 1300. Cleansing Swoop changed to Fierce Impact. Lethal Swoop changed to Lethal Shattering Rampage and Run. Gains 100% Stun Resistance.
Skoonasaurus: Health decreased to 5100. Instant Group Distraction Impact changed to Restricted Group Distraction.
Phorurex: Health decreased to 3600. Attack decreased to 1500. Speed decreased to 126.
Indotaurus: Health decreased to 4350. Attack decreased to 1400. Gains 34% Distraction Resistance.
Mortem Rex: Health increased to 4650. Speed increased to 109.
Thoradolosaur: Attack decreased to 1700. Armor increased to 5%.
Testacornibus: Cleansing Decelerating Impact changed to Superiority Impact.
Grypolyth: Immobilize changed to Deliberate Immobilize.

MULTI-FUSE CHANGES:

Players can now start multi-fusing as soon as they are able to! There is no longer a player level cap.
It is now possible to multi-fuse a hybrid before you create it…
There is a new button that says “Fuse All”. This will use all of the DNA/Coins you have to fuse.

SANCTUARY LEVEL CHANGE

Players can now feed, interact, and play with any creature they want, regardless of player level!

Only issue is that Skoona hp nerf was too big. I honestly don’t believe it needed one

I think the level cap should be decreased to like 10 or something, not be available from level 1 onwards.

I think this is a bit excessive. It is good as it is in the game now.

So you want something that deal Group effect 2 turn have Zero cooldown? Long Dece Strike target only one.

It was not a Instant Cunning Rampage. It have no delay and Crit debuff.

Let’s edit that OP move, “Lethal” have no related to Maiasaura, Phorusrhacos and Dracorex gen 2.

It WAS NOT a normal Revenge Distracting Rampage, look at 1 cooldown, Distraction 2 turn 4 attack and deal 2x damage with ONE cooldown, normal?

Same as “On escape Cloak”

I bet this will change back to Lethal Swoop again. Too OP.

Lifespans was never it’s problem, the problem is the Counter who deal 83% hp on revenge.

Should have a level cap, maybe just 8 or 10, where people is understand what they need so they won’t waste their DNA and Coins.

Cleansing Shattering Impact and Rampage is OP, Give them 2 cooldown. Also where the basic move for Carcharodontosaurus?

heres the thing: revenge distracting impact is the same way. it has a 1 turn cooldown while distracting impact has a 2 turn cooldown

group decel strike is currently one of the worst moves in the game. it needs a buff like that.

It’s literally a cunning rampage without any delay and it’s instant. And the picture of the move is a cunning rampage with the instant symbol. It also does a crit debuf.

this is awesome, but gigaś got to have a bleed move. it will be the only way to make it interesting without being another therapod, plus thatś how it would kill argentinosaurus´. they would just bleed them out.

The release notes sometimes have wrong information that’s why and that I didn’t want to scroll all the way up of 600 replies. Anyway according to the release notes you are right. But in the most recent of Nighty200’s video you do see phorurex use cautious cunning rampage and erlikospyx showing that it’s immune to the crit reduction debuff.
So yes it’s basically a instant, no delay cunning rampage.
