NEW FEATURE: EXCAVATIONS

Introducing Excavations, the newest way to collect DNA! Send out an Excavation once per day to gather DNA based on the continent chosen!

How it works:
When starting an Excavation, you will first select a continent if your choice. Once your Excavation has started, it will last six hours. Excavations to not have a regular cooldown as to when you can start one. Instead you can start one at any time as long as you haven’t started one earlier today, or if if you don’t have an investigation currently going. Once the Excavation has ended, you will be rewarded with fossils of different qualities, or amber if lucky enough. The quality of a fossil determines its sell price, or the amount of DNA you will receive via researching it.

Common DNA Fossils:
1 star: 200 DNA, 200 coin sell price
2 star: 500 DNA, 500 coin sell price
3 star: 1000 DNA, 1000 coin sell price
Amber: 2000 DNA, 2000 coin sell price

Rare DNA Fossils:
1 star: 100 DNA, 400 coin sell price
2 star: 250 DNA, 1000 coin sell price
3 star: 500 DNA, 2000 coin sell price
Amber: 1000 Rare DNA, 4000 coin sell price

Epic DNA Fossils:
1 star: 50 DNA, 800 coin sell price
2 star: 125 DNA, 2000 coin sell price
3 star: 250 DNA, 4000 coin sell price
Amber: 500 DNA, 8000 coin sell price

The higher the quality, the rarer they are to find. Lower rarities are also slightly more common than the rarity above. Higher quality fossils are also more common in lower rarities.

Quality or Quantity?:
You will have 5 slots for fossils, all of which will be used up after an Excavation. Any of these slots can be removed for a higher chance at better quality fossils.

Target specific creature:
You can choose to target up to 3 specific creatures. This will double the chance of that fossil showing up. Note that the fossils may still be relatively rare even when targeted, as there are many possible creatures you can collect in each continent.

Home Continent Bonus:
You will have a doubled sell price and increased high quality chance if doing an Excavation in the continent of which you currently reside in.

So where is it?

This buff is perfect, other than the distract immunity. It’s too much, 50% at most, as resilients should beat cunnings, not evaporate them. Other than that, great work

Also if you’re gonna buff the attack, swap the counter to a medium one, as to not be op for its rarity

The buffs are very good for new players

This makes pachyrhinosaurus Fierce Resilient

Look at Cervalces and Anky Lux

Shouldn’t it’s basic attack change to something actually perform as well as a unique? Group Fierce Strike at least?

Casi me la creo y todo. Buen trabajo!

Maybe Acevia can have Defense Shattering Distraction(A new move)

What’s wrong with Defense Shattering Alert; besides its name?

I didn’t change the move because it was bad, I changed it because it’s just a wierd in between of Defense Shattering Strike and Fierce Strike. I replaced it with Fierce Strike because Albertocevia really doesn’t need to be any better than it already is, even without the nerf.

Do you Display of new creature and ability icons and Complete list of available creatures in each continent in the Excavation feature.

Why not give it some armor? The 3750 was fully intended to be a reference to E750, so I feel like changing it will fade off the sparkle

The only problem I have with this update is the fact that scorps health got buffed, no there’s no longer an E-750 reference

Another update on the release notes:

  • Scorpios Rex has been buffed in attack and speed rather than health
  • Icons for Mamenchisaurus and Carcharodontosaurus are complete
