The name, Gerrothorax, means “wicked chest.”
Like modern day axolotl, Gerrothorax has feather like gills, which use it to breath underwater.
Gerrothorax lives in the Triassic period in what is now Greenland, Germany, Sweden, and possibly Thailand.
