Typical matchmaking routine:
Match two players with same level and average dinos
If player loose one game, match with similar player who also lost one game
If player loose second game, match with similar player who also lost two games in row
If player loose third game, match with similar player who also lost three games in a row
etc… (Basically, each match should become somewhat easier, after each losses)
JWA matchmaking routine:
Match a player with somebody else who has dinosaurs 5 levels higher.
If player loose one game, match with somebody who has already won a game with better dinos
If player loose second game, match players with somebody who won two games with better dinos
If player loose third game, make sure you match him with somebody who won at least 3 games…
So by the time you have lost 10 games against players with better dinos, you get the drift, match with somebody who likely already won 10 games in a row. Sometime, I think they made an error in their matchmaking routine and cannot find it.
It’s absurd that you have to fight guys who can simply unrank themselves, and then still use their best dinos five levels above legit level players. Truly hope that 1.6 will fix matchmaking for good with a typical matchmaking routine instead of the mess we have to go through. Sadly, didn’t saw anything in about this in the patch notes.
