The name, Lurdusaurus, means “heavy lizard”.
In Beasts of Bermuda, Lurdusaurus prefers to eat aquatic plants. If it did eat land plants, it’ll cause food poisoning.
Lurdusaurus was named in 1999 by P. Taquet & D. A. Russell.
