Is it normal for someone to have the same username?

yes because i have a alt as the same name as my main
my mains name is carter

Thanks Carter. I assumed all usernames would be unique so was confused when I battled someone with the same name!

when i started to play jwa at june 2018 it was a basic, local profile then after a few days we changed for a server account, and later in time i was questioning about why we had to add a friend by username AND id.

then i realized username was not unique… this explained that id.

You can have up to 10000 with the same username.
