Logging into JWA with FB/Email

An alliiance member of mine usually logs into his account with FB, but today he’s getting an error message when trying to log in with FB. When trying to log in via email it starts a new account. Is there any way he can log in a different way without losing all his progress?

Done. He plays for his son, who’s on a huawei and has issues with getting raid invites thanks to the google sanctions.
