# [Minor Spoiler] for Milena/Ana; need to get off chest

The binary is “Yay!”, not “YAY!”.

For anyone interested, it should be:
01011001 01000001 01011001 00100001

Or: 89 65 89 33, not 89 97 121 33

Each of those 0s and 1s are bits or a byte with a value: 128, 64, 32, 16, 8, 4, 2, 1.

For 89 = ‘Y’: -, 64, -, 16, 8, -, -, 1
For 65 = ‘A’: -, 64, -, -, -, -, -, 1
For 33 = ‘!’: -, -, 32, -, -, -, -, 1

Forgive me. u.u;
It’s been on my mind for weeks and was driving me crazy. The information you’re telling us is correct, but technically incorrect. >.>; I understand it doesn’t matter to the average person, but…

If someone was trying to impress someone else who knew how to decode this, they may be corrected and embarrassed. That would suck, and I don’t want anyone to suffer that.

Do you work for NASA or something?

Nope. It was the first thing I was taught when learning programming. I find it fascinating because it’s like decoding a secret message.

What I’ve written in the first post is how to get the decimal value. This link will take you to a site on how to decode decimal into ASCII, which is how we’re able to see letters and symbols on our screens.
