Misfortune effects not consumed when used

Cori’s misfortune belts seem to still suffer from the same problem her fortune abilities did. I wasn’t encountering it until she was added to the bot teams, but now that she has, it’s pretty obvious. If Cori casts misfortune, my characters will lose both their start of turn wondrous item random effects and move or attack effects. The misfortune should be consumed by the start of turn effect so the move and attack effects proc normally.
