[News] Jurassic World Alive | Minor 2.0 Update

Hello DPG members!

As you know 2.0 was one of our biggest updates yet and we couldn’t be more proud of it! There were a few glitches that came with it and we acted quickly to regulate the issues to better your gaming experience.

An update is rolling out early next week with some major fixes for your enjoyment. There will be no maintenance needed for this update.
Here are the fixes listed below.

iOS version 2.0.39

This version contains the following fixes:

  • Initiative track HP bars now updates accordingly
  • Big Offers now indicates the number of purchases remaining
  • Emotes used in a disconnect state will no longer cause a player to be stuck at step 1/27 when launching the game
  • Sold Big Offers are now removed
  • A match is no longer triggered as a loss when your gameplay experiences an interrupt

Google version 2.0.40

This version contains the following fixes:

  • Emotes used in a disconnect state will no longer cause a player to be stuck at step 1/27 when launching the game
  • Sold Big Offers are now removed
  • A match is no longer triggered as a loss when your gameplay experiences an interrupt
  • Players are no longer prompted to login to Google Play Games when entering a Lobby

Known issue that is still being worked on:

  • “Lobby is full” message still occurs despite a player slot being available in the Raid lobby. To avoid this issue, invite members to the Lobby one at a time.

Note: The Google version is higher due to a Google specific issue.

We hope this alleviates the issues some players were experiencing. We’d like to thank you all for your dedication, feedback, as well as patience and understanding.

Cool. While you’re at it, you should take a look into that Instant Invincibility mechanics, which is making a lot of creatures useless in the arena. It ain’t just about the raids you know…

Do away with this please.

People will exploit this all day long. Especially in tournaments where the high score registers. People at their high will purposefully interrupt gameplay to avoid losing and therefore can inflate their scores.

@Ned @E.D please discuss this with the game

I didn’t know this was happening

How about you all put the coin rewards in strikes back to what they were before too while you’re at it?

Or take care of the visual glitches with shields in arena?

so can you just close app and not get a loss? what all is considered an “interrupt”?

It’s a bugfix patch that shouldn’t even need to exist if Ludia playtested their games. They don’t deserve praise for doing what’s already expected of them.

What about alliance rewards and missions not showing up are you guys ever gonna acknowledge that still waiting on a help ticket response 4 days and counting now.

Could you just also add a chat for the raid menu? I need to make sure we’re using the right dinos

That’s awesome!
But what about some discrepancies with the patch notes like the extra cooldown of nullifying impact and rampage? Could we get any clarification of whether this was intentional or not? And If It was a mistake, please revert those changes?

Technically, they have designed raids for alliances, and most alliances have ways to communicate already (discord, messenger, etc) so they can share information, cash link, sanctuary planning, etc… Personally, the best QOL would be to simply have all the online players showing on top of the list!!! We plan everything, then when you start the raid, you have to go down your huge list of friends, to find those 3 you did the planning with, mixed up with all those who are offline!. Yet, most of the time, we have a maximum of 10 online players on our list, so if they sort them out on top, it will be easier to spot them

I really hope this is not the ONLY known 2.0 issue (other then those being fixed), since we already reported a lot here. :eyes:

Let’s please not forget the missing Alliance Missions/Rewards, as well as the iOS players not being able to send/accept raid invitations.

This was fixed already (I’m on iOS as are many in my alliance)

Remove game entirely
Reinstall
After startup go to social tab

You’ll be prompted a message you need to accept

When will we get the update?

What about priority shields lasting 1 more turn?

It makes no sense that nullifying impact/rampage would have 2 turn cool down. I hope they revert it back.

So with the Pack of Darts offer will no longer be around (despite the increasing numbers of COVID-19 cases in the U.S. and world, how that’s part of “some major fixes for your enjoyment”?

Besides, our coins reward for strike tower incubs are also nerfed. Is that part of “our enjoyment too?” With most of us having needed to create a 2nd team for Raids, how are we are going to be able to do it effectively with less coins available?
