[News] Jurassic World Alive | Scent Capsule Issue


Hello fellow DPG members,

We’re aware of the following issue with the Scent Capsules.

If a player activates a Scent Capsule but then does an action that changes screens/menus, such as hunt a creature or views one in the lab, returning to the Map will make it so that the Scent timer and Scent visual effect disappears from view. To resolve this, players will need to reboot the app.

The issue is a visual discrepancy but has no effect on the Scent’s mechanism. Capsules will continue to spawn creatures, but without visual feedback which may lead players to believe it is not working.

If one does not wish to relaunch the app, and essentially lose time on the Scent Capsule, they can confirm its activation by simply opening their Inventory and observe that the active Scent still has the “scan lines” effect.

A fix for this issue is already in the works and is expected to be pushed with our next Update.

So how about the fixes of other issue?

You know…

  1. Strike tower always hide dinos around them.
  2. The moving priority direction in battle sometimes are incorrect.
  3. Majundasuchus didn’t got the promised stats buff in ver.1.5.

Whene will the issue we complained for all these time been fixed?


Scent timers have been working correctly for a few days now. Was this post supposed to be made several days ago?
