I’m back with a birb!
Etymology: Kinda obvious tbh. I was gonna use Amplibuteo because that is the Woodward’s eagle’s genus but I couldn’t find the meaning of Amplibuteo.
About: The Woodward’s eagle was one of the largest birds of prey to ever exist. It was 95.6 to 110.2 centimeters long. The Haast’s eagle grew to larger sizes. The Woodward’s eagle hunted in open prairies with little trees, unlike the forest dwelling Haast’s eagle. It ate small mammals and reptiles which explains why it isn’t as large as the Haast’s eagle which ate Moas.
