This worked for me:
“disconnect and reconnect from wifi, don’t exit game and then accept invite”

I will try this thank you. Any idea what to do if you aren’t on Wi-Fi?

I assume the same works for data. I wanted to mention data as well, but I haven’t tested with data. It helped me get in a raid within 5 minutes rather than half an hour though, so it’s sure to possibly help some people… xD
