Dipostator could be a powered up version of Postosuchus, which would be really helpful in higher arenas I would think. Skophogsuchus could be our first unique amphibian, and be a big nuisance with its diversity. Wuerhotrodon is probably unrealistic lol but I wanted to think of the best hard counter to Thor imaginable. Majundatheros could give players a mid way discount option to Grypolyth.

I’d like to see some new not-hybrids. These are the ones I’d like to see the most:

Yutirannus common
Decent health, good damage, 10 crit but al little bit shielding strike
Defence shattering impact

Quanlong rare
Good damage, verry fast but low health
Defence shattering strike
Ferocious strike
Pounce

Troodon epic
High damage, decent speed but low health
Nullifying strike
Lethal wound
Disracting impact or distracting rampage
Swap in distraction

Deinosuchus epic
High health, decent speed but low damage
Nullifying strike
Distracting rampage
Instant distraction

I’ve also thought about hybrids with the quanlong, deinosuchus and the Yutirannus:

Yuranodon=Pteranodon + yutirannus
Decent health, decent damage and pretty fast
Shielding strike
Defence shattering impact
Nullifying impact
Impact and run
Swap in ferocity
Defence shattering counter

Deinolong=Deinosuchus + quanlong
Decent health, good damage and verry fast
Nullifying strike
Ferocious strike
Pounce
Instant distraction

Yes, but you’re failing to take into account how Procerathomimus was already massively overpowered in relation to its rarity and other creatures of its class (e.g. Monomimus). Even before getting a massive health buff, few Epic hybrids were anywhere nearly good as it was, and it even outclassed a not-insignificant number of Legendaries (and, arguably, some of the lesser Uniques like Stigydaryx).

It’s Immune, so stunning, distracting, DoT, slowing all can’t halt it. It has an Evasive ability which potentially allows it to be more survivable, an always-available Nullifying ability which allows it to remove other creatures’ buffs, a 2x Distracting ability to further increase survivability, and a Instant Distraction which potentially allows it to stall out the delay/cooldown on its Evasive Stance. No other Epic hybrid, or even most Legendary hybrids/superhybrids, has such a devastating combination of survivability and utility in their moveset, and the ones that come close (e.g. Monomimus) have horrid stats to balance them out.

Immunity may have been overvalued (I don’t think so, but the developers probably have numbers to back up their assessment), but not every Immune creature was similarly undervalued as a result . A creature like Monomimus is probably at the lower bound of “Immunity is causing this creature’s stats to be too weak” whereas Procerathomimus is definitely not suffering from any Immunity overvaluation. You can see this from how Proceratho is the only Epic hybrid to be widely used in top 500/endgame teams.

At bare minimum, the developers should not have buffed Proceratho. There is precedent for this - in the 1.8 update, even though they weakened the utility of critical hits (effectively causing a high critical hit ratio to be ‘overvalued’ in certain creatures), they did not buff all creatures with a high critical hit ratio. Rather, creatures like Magnapyritor and Tenontorex which they determined were overpowered even after the critical hit nerf were either left alone or nerfed (quite harshly in the case of Magna).

Of course, there’s the alternative explanation of ‘the developers didn’t view Procerathomimus as overpowered’. If that’s the case, I would honestly prefer that we crowdsource suggestions on buffs and nerfs than let the developers handle meta balancing. It’s very clear that relative to its rarity, ingredients and even similar creatures, Procerathomimus is way overpowered, before 1.9, and definitely for the duration of 1.9.

Note: I’m not technically against having powerful Epic hybrids/superhybrids that can battle in the endgame arenas. I just think we should be consistent about it. If Epics hybrids should be powerful enough to be used in the endgame, a significant number should have this ability, not just one (or maybe 3? I personally don’t think Edmontoguanodon or Sarcorixis count, they’re not as powerful as Procerathomimus, but eh). Then, if Epics are able to easily compete with and overpower Uniques/Legendaries, we need to think about how to incentivise people to create and level less accessible creatures (i.e. the Uniques and Legendaries), or the power curve of the game will not be as effective. There’s plenty of considerations, but, since the developers have said that rarer and less accessible creatures should be more powerful, I think that they should be consistent with that, and not create ridiculously overpowered Epic hybrids.

But no numbers if:

People complaining about no DC nerf, but there are now more counters.

For example, often I see someone swap DC in, kill my dino, I bring out Indo, they stun me, then rampage me then swap out. Now they can’t stun me! Yes they can still priority cleanse, but this make quite a difference particular with those immune to stun.

Thor can’t necessarily just be used to chomp, chomp, stun, chomp…

Erlidom and Tryo boost is welcomed.

The campaign thing sounds interesting.

I’m utterly disappointed in the Suchotator getting just an epic hybrid, that feels lame.

But looking forward to seeing it all once released.

They need to listen to the core fans and provide a resolution to boosts. Allow players to redistribute so that they aren’t stuck with the same team. Why keep adding dinos if players are not changing up teams no one wants to go down in trophies. I changed up my team a couple times due to the learning curve of boosts and due to the crappy match ups I usually vary from 4600 to 4800 trophies down from my original 5100. Ludia took my money and screwed me over along with many others. or can you try to delete it, please?
