So this is the much more transparent communication, they advertised?! We get a 5-hour long maintenance announced without any explanation in advance despite repeated request to tell us at least the gist of it. Then it gets postponed by a day again without any explanation. Then it gets much longer than announced (again no explanation). Then the game returns with absolutely 0 problems fixed, but instead being in a much more buggy and chaotic state (including finally the death of the compensation system wich was just a bad joke to begin with).
And we still get no explanation whatsoever even after repeated requests!!!
But posts filled with much warranted frustration get flagged immediately for being rude, and we are expected to be civil about this and nkt bring rude, and almost being grateful for being slapped in the face, while many of us are in fact paying customers at least through VIP…

IS LUDIA SERIOUS?!!

No. This maintenance was intended to make a few changes to the backend. That is server-side stuff. That is nothing players would notice or even understand (in most cases). They never said a thing about bug fixes.

I don’t even play this game anymore and I think Ludia makes a lot of stupid and baffling decisions, but in this case, they did what they said they were going to do.

They never actually said they were “fixing” anything. It was technical maintenance, which could mean a variety of different things and many of them are things most of us probably don’t even understand.

They just pass us the information, which Ludia gives to them.

Well, whatever they did it’s worse now than it was before.

Probably worthwhile getting your daily tasks down ASAP before they suddenly have to go into maintenance to fix their earlier maintenance

They can always, you know, get the work done properly, and there will be no complaints.
