Trivia
  • The name, Megatherium, means “Great Beast”.

  • Megatherium was so big that a single predator won’t be able to take this sloth down. However, a pack of predators is a different story.

  • Megatherium is a Xenarthra, a same family with anteaters, armadillos, and sloths

Whose fossil does this belong to?:

Do NOT click on the picture, and search it through any websites. I want to hear the answer from you.

I don’t think the picture says the name

What do you mean?

I clicked it for banter (and bc I’m not gonna say names this time) and… It doesn’t say the name of the creature

I still don’t get it

Avaceratops?

Avaceratops is correct

I don’t think sid is a Megatherium. By his size he could be a Nothrotheriops

There were no other images with a sloth. :sleepy:

I know. I don’t mind that anyway

Reading your posts I noticed that you are often short of creatures. There is a site that is perfect is called Prehistoric Wildlife.
Please take a look.

I know what it is
