I have been requesting my alliance to give me spinotahraptor dna for a few weeks now but I noticed something weird with the the name.

It’s a hybrid, you shouldn’t be able to request it.

Uhm, yes, you can actually request hybrids and super hybrids from both Rare and Epic rarities, the only creatures that can’t be requested are Legendaries, Uniques and Apexes. You’re probably confusing it with placing them in sanctuaries.
