Technicals on the AR aspect?

I’m very impressed with what I’ve seen of the AR. It’s the first time I’ve seen augmented reality done without the need for a “marker” QR code being visible to the camera. Was this developed in-house, is it 3rd party software? Is Unity now natively capable of doing this? Trying to find out because I’d love to use this for an AR project I have in mind.
