For about 2 weeks now, maybe longer, I haven’t been able to see my online friends except for those in my alliance.
In addition, everyone’s trophy count is displayed as 0 - both friends and recent opponents. I can see their trophies if I look at their alliance roster which is still showing them, but that’s an extra step.
My phone is a Galaxy S9+. I have cleared the game cache which did not help. Is this a known bug or what else can I do?

I have this problem too. Only my alliance members’ names show up. And then sometimes everyone has a name and trophy count.
I have learned to temporarily accept it.
When I go to challenging, I don’t know who it is until I actually press “challenge.”
This happens to me for many months, I think at least 4 months.
