[Update Idea] Tyrannosaur Update | Jurassic World Alive

@Ludia_Developers

Thank you for yet another update. It hasn’t really been said enough on the forums, but we truly appreciate all the work that goes into making new content for us to enjoy. We may complain and express our frustration, but in our heart of hearts, we can’t help but admit that we enjoy the game, flaws and all. With that being said, there’s been something glaringly lacking from the past several updates: dinosaurs. Cenozoic and Permian creatures are interesting, but for many of us, dinosaurs are what really put the thrill and awe into Jurassic World. So with the extra time on my hands due to quarantine, I wanted to offer up some ideas centred around Tyrannosaurs for the next update. After all, who better to introduce a new wave of dinosaurs than the king of them all?

Atroxideutyrannus
(“Savage God Tyrant”)
(Tarbosaurus Gen2 + Tyrannosaurus Rex + Zhuchengtyrannus)

Savage Fury
At the end of each turn, increase damage by 100% and critical chance by 15% for the next three turns.
Rage

Description:
Measuring in at eighty feet in length, the combination of the three fiercest Tyrannosaur bloodlines has yielded a beast more massive, and deadly, than any of its progenitors. Due to its sheer bulk, Atroxideutyrannus cannot pursue traditional hunting methods; instead, it dominates other predators at scavenger sites or attacks lumbering sauropods that few other dinosaurs dare touch.

Zhuchengtyrannus
(“Zhucheng Tyrant”)
Rarity: Epic
Creation Cost (per fuse): N/A
Stats @ Level 26 (@ Level 30)

Passive Abilities: none
Description:
The vibrant purple colouring on this Gen2 clone prevents it from effectively hunting in broad daylight. At night, however, a symbiotic relationship has been observed between the Tarbosaurus Gen2 and its larger relative, the Tyrannosaurus Rex; it seems that they have adopted cooperative hunting strategies to tackle more dangerous prey items.

Immune to Fear
This creature cannot be made fearful.
Description:

Trykosaurus Gen2
(“Armoured Tyrant”)

Hyper-developed musculature makes this beast stronger and faster than its natural counterpart. Enhanced senses improve predatorial proficiency, ultimately creating one of the highest level hunters ever to exist.

Omega Tyrannosaurus Rex
(“Tyrant Lizard King - Chaos Effect”)
(Tyrannosaurus Rex + Tyrannosaurus Rex)
Rarity: Legendary
Creation Cost (per fuse): 50 Tyrannosaurus Rex DNA + 50 Tyrannosaurus Rex DNA

Immune to Fear
This creature cannot be made fearful.
Description:
Purebred and purely terrifying, the Omega Tyrannosaurus Rex is one of the largest, most ferocious predators to ever walk the earth. Genetic fine-tuning has turned this large Tyrannosaurus into a hyper-aggressive lizard – the ultimate Tyrannosaurus Rex. No longer does it possess the inherent weaknesses of a genetically unaltered T. Rex: it is faster, stronger, has superior eyesight and sense of smell, and has developed a much more aggressive temperament than its predecessor. Brilliant coloration and unnatural markings easily distinguish this colossal lizard as a mutated Chaos Effect variety.

Kaprosuchus Gen2
(“Boar Crocodile”)
Rarity: Epic
Creation Cost (per fuse): N/A
Stats @ Level 26 (@ Level 30)
Health: 4050 (4921)

No Escape
When opponent attempts to leave, swap prevent opponent for one turn.
Description:
Unlike its modern day relatives, Kaprosuchus possesses a unique interlocking jaw structure with overlapping canines that allows it to pursue an active terrestrial lifestyle. Fused nasal bones and laterally positioned eye orbits suggest that Kaprosuchus may very well be capable of hunting dinosaurs.

Indoprosuchus
(“Untameable Crocodile Tyrant”)
(Tyrannosaurus Rex Gen2 + Echo + Kaprosuchus Gen2)
Rarity: Legendary
Creation Cost (per fuse): 50 Kaprosuchus Gen2 DNA + 50 Indominus Rex Gen2 DNA

Immune to Damage Over Time
This creature cannot receive damage over time.
Immune to Stuns
This creature cannot be stunned.
Immune to Vulnerability
This creature cannot be made vulnerable.
Description:
The added crocodilian DNA in Indoprosuchus has transformed the osteoderms of the Indominus Rex base genome into a spike-covered carapace of plated armour. An inherited trait from the Kaprosuchus Gen2, Indoprosuchus exhibits indeterminate growth, allowing it to reach upwards of sixty feet in length. The exact function of the brilliant red colouration of its armour and the green streaks along its body is currently unknown; however, it has been hypothesised to serve as a threat display to other apex predators.

*Fear: 50% chance that opponent’s next action (manual swap, counter-attack, ability, on-escape ability) will not proceed. If opponent creature executes two actions in one turn, fear chance is calculated separately for the two actions (ie. fear inflicted, opponent’s ability does not proceed, but opponent’s counter-attack still has possibility to occur).

*Descriptions for Thrasher T. Rex (Chaos Effect) and Omega T. Rex (Chaos Effect) were directly adapted from the Jurassic Park: Chaos Effect toy descriptions. All credits go to Kenner.

@Ned If it isn’t too much to ask, it would really mean a lot to me if you relayed this to the Jurassic World Alive Development Team, it’d be a dream come true to see these ideas brought to life in game!

If you’ve made it this far, thank you for your time (I understand it was a long read). I would love to hear your comments, suggestions, and opinions in the comments down below.

I like your post

I loved it, so many new creatures, @UnicornWizard

Made it before 2.0, so the partial vulnerabilities don’t really end up making sense. Might go back and update it if I have time

@Ned Any reason I can’t edit the original post anymore? Wanting to update it to match the current resistances instead of partial immunities, thanks for the help :grinning:
