Ok first off, this is not a derogatory post and I’m not calling out anyone because my play practice differs from theirs. I just want to understand the thought process behind it.
I call the trophy zone between 4600-5200 the No Man’s Land, because it is a death lock between mega L30 10/10/10 teams dropping/falling and players who are pretty normal moving upwards. It’s like an inescapable vortex as I’ve come to understand it. I’m fine with it since I don’t care particularly about reaching the upper echelons of the arena. But I’ve noticed something peculiar as I do my matches for the daily incubator and fill my inc slots. Basically every team is dead on identical. I’d say without hesitation that this line up defines up to 80% or more of squads in this trophy zone.
So yes, I also use a couple of these creatures in case you were wondering. I actively use Maxima, Erlidom, and Indo2 of the infamous 8. But why is this exact team used by so many players? That’s all I’m really asking, not mad or upset about anything. Just curious! Because if it was really that effective, wouldn’t they rise out of this trophy bracket? I mean most of these guys I run into are boosted quite nicely, nicely enough to cover some ground. But it seems like they don’t? Is this a goal team for lower players or something as they reach the No Man’s Land? Is it just because most of these are pretty cheap to gather and level?
I’m interested in what the opinions are of players that use this set up and how it works for them. Do you guys like it, or is it just out of some form of necessity that you use them? Is there a strategy you’ve come to enjoy in having these creatures as your team?
