I feel like compy would be a dodging creature, since it’s so small. Sidestep would definitely be a move it should have. Maybe a DoT since it was venomous in the og Jurassic park novel. Maybe a move similar to swap in wound, but with damage. Vomous bite, do DoT for 2 turns, take 0.25 health away from the target, one turn of distraction. And then maybe for the strike move, precise or defer its strike. It would be a rare creature with high speed, average damage, low health, and a swap in move.

Compsocodon crushes both indos and procera. Erlidom also has trouble with it due to paralyzing strike, which means erlid can’t use a cloaked rampage. In fact, erlid gets beaten by compsocodon

Oh yeah I‘d love to see that thing getting introduced to the game. They appear in JP II and are also present in the book of Michael Crichton. In the book, they are so terrifying and Hammond‘s end brought me nightmares as a kid. Damn.

That‘s the design I had in mind. Some proportions aren‘t right, I have to check the anatomy (I think the neck is too long), but nevermind I think it‘s clear what I mean. :smiley: I imagine it with green colors and dark stripes. The tails are long and fragile and the eyes are very dark (brown with black pupil) and big.

Just as Cautious Strike is an unique move, I‘d love to see Compsy have an unique ability too. Maybe something that‘s called „pack call“ (don‘t know what sounds cool in English :joy::sweat_smile:). That move would raise the attack by 75% (basic atk would be low) and the animation would show four-five other compsies answering the call of it. That effect would last for -let‘s say- 3 turns and they would fight together. Maybr this ability would also give it dodge 100% and raise speed. Cooldown 4 and once it‘s over the others disappear and one Compsy remains. :ok_hand::smiley:
